Drive to Phang Nga province after breakfast at the hotel. Begin your journey with Suwankuha Cave Temple, also known as the “Monkey Temple,”, where the image of the reclining Buddha will astound you if you have never been close to a monkey. This is your chance!
Then take a peaceful long-tail boat ride to Phang Nga Bay, which has one of the most breathtaking views in the world. Cross mangrove forests to reach the famous James Bond Island or Koh Tapu (‘nail island’ in Thai), whose base is so thin that it appears to be incapable of withstanding a 200-metre drop! Continue to Koh Panyee village, where lunch (excluding drinks) will be served at a local restaurant. Koh Panyee Village, also known as the “Gypsies of the Sea” village, is a massive fishing village on stilts. Explore the traditional homes, shops selling fabrics, shells, jewelry, and souvenirs, a local school, restaurants, and sports fields.Drive to Krabi at the end of the day.

After breakfast at the hotel, hit the road through Surat Thani province to the pier. Board the ferry to Samui Island.

Continue to Grandfather and Grandmother Rock, also known as Hin Ta and Hin Yai in Thai. These two rock formations
are close together and are famous for their resemblance to male and female sexual organs that you have never seen before!

See the native mangroves in a canal tour by long tail boat. Visit the local village’s shipyard; a Thailand’s Royal Project Site led by the Crown Prince of Thailand (current King of Thailand). The shipyard had built hundreds of long tail boats for the families who lost their boats during the tsunami. The new design of the long tail boat set the national standard for ship design and remains to use today. Wrap up your day with an authentic Thai lunch at a local home.

After breakfast, explore Phuket town. Meet your representative at the hotel and set off to visit the Kata and Cape Prompthep viewpoints, the ancient temple of Wat Chalong, a cashew nut factory and a pearl factory. Lunch with local dishes (excluding drinks). Then enjoy a relaxing afternoon at the hotel or visit Phuket town at your leisure.
Today you will leave for Koh Yao Yai. Join your transfer from the Phuket hotel to the pier. Then board a speedboat to Koh Yao Yai where you will be transferred to the Elixir Koh Yao Yai Hotel for check-in and a welcome drink. Relax and enjoy the beach or services around the hotel during the day.
On the programme after breakfast: discover the authentic way of life on the island of Koh Yao Yai and its community. Today you will see monkeys picking coconuts, peeling coconuts, the rubber extraction process, rice paddy cultivation, water buffalo, rice milling and floating lobster farming. For lunch, you will prepare your own dessert (Thai banana with coconut milk). Afterwards, relax on a floating platform and enjoy a swim, kayak or lounger before returning to the hotel.

After breakfast, depart from the hotel on Koh Yao Yai for Phang Nga Bay and a visit to James Bond Island before transferring to Khao Lak.
Board a typical long-tail boat to reach Phang Nga Bay, which is the most sumptuous panorama in the country. Pass through mangrove forests and reach the famous James Bond Island (Koh Tapu), whose base is so thin that it seems impossible that it could support a height of 200m.
Leave for the village of Koh Panyee, where lunch will be served in a local restaurant. The village of Koh Panyee, known as the village of the “Sea Gypsies”, is a gigantic fishing village built on stilts. Discover the traditional dwellings: simple tin houses or much more stylised ones, shops selling fabrics, shells, jewellery and souvenirs, a mixed Muslim school, restaurants and a football pitch that has been and still is the talk of the world. At the end of the day, drive to Khao Lak to reach your hotel.
Day excursion programme to attend the traditional morning blessing and prayer ceremony of the Buddhist monks in the local village and temple. Visit an original local food market, the site of Thailand’s royal post-tsunami shipyard project and sample authentic Thai cuisine at a home-cooked lunch.

After breakfast, departure for a visit to the famous 4 islands in Phang Nga Bay. You will go from island to island to discover the most beautiful sites in the Krabi Sea. You’ll visit the Phra Nang cave, the islands of Tup, Chicken and Poda and have the chance to swim and snorkel.
Picnic lunch by the beach with a simple meal (rice, chicken and stir-fried vegetables, drinks not included) where you will enjoy a sea rich in coral and fish, crystal-clear waters and a white sandy beach lined with coconut palms.

Depart after breakfast for Khao Sok National Park and visit the elephant sanctuary where you will take part in the bathing and feeding experience. You will then set off on a bamboo raft trip along the river.
Lunch at a local restaurant (drinks not included) and explore the area around your hotel in Khao Lak: you will start with police boat No. 813, swept away by the 2004 tsunami, then visit the local market in Bang Muang and continue with a visit to the Tsunami memorial in Ban Nam Khem. Final stop at the local fishing village and pier.
